The E3 application portal for summer 2027 is now open!
The portal will close on November 1st 2026 at 23:55 Swiss local time (CEST until 25 October 2026 and CET from 25 October 2026).

What do you need to apply?
- your CV
- your academic transcripts (if not available in English or French, you can translate them in English by yourself but please include also the original version provided by your university)
- a motivation letter where you explain your scientific interests, the reasons that made you apply and your target host labs
- your ID (passport or national ID)
In the application form you are asked to indicate:
- (compulsory) up to three research topics of interest selected from the list at “Choose your host lab”
- (not compulsory) up to three host labs of interest selected from the list at “E3 hosting lab database”
Please note that once you have submitted your application, you will no longer have the possibility to modify it.
